Here are the steps to become a mentor

1) Complete the application and return it to

2) Attend the training on (to be determined). The training will be held at (to be determined)

3) Complete and submit the items in the safety requirements document (fingerprints, TB test, driver's license and auto insurance) If you can't get to these items right away, please don't wait to turn in your application. We need that right away to begin the process.

4) Review the program calendar for conflicts. We don't expect that mentors will be able to attend every community meeting. We ask that you let us know what conflicts arise. The most critical dates are for the training (dates yet to be determined) and camp 1/18 - 1/21 (MLK weekend). Please note, the items on the calendar marked with an asterisk are optional. Mentors are invited and encouraged to get as much support as they need, and yet these extra sessions are not required.
